Education – Standardized Testing
In an effort to improve education, especially in the United States, standardized testing has been instituted. But does it really work? This overview is not intended to answer the question of whether or not standardized testing works but to present both sides of the argument both for an against it.
The theory behind standardized testing is very simple. Every student is taught the same material in each subject so that a standardized test can be created and given to each of them. This will serve as a good barometer as to the student’s progress.

Does a Pharmacy Worker Need a Degree
There are a few states that require formal training for a pharmacy technician, but otherwise there are no requirements for training prior to taking a job in a pharmacy. Many employers, however, are not so casual about training.
There are vocational schools, community college and private college programs for aspiring pharmacy technicians and many employers prefer applicants who have gone through one of them. In busy pharmacies it’s often difficult to provide on-the-job training - in-store training can often just slow things down further.
